Yahoo Travel included the Croatian island of Vis among the world's 10 undiscovered "dream islands" in an article published yesterday (Wed).
The article mentions spectacular, deserted beaches, old citadels and the best vineyards in Dalmatia. It also praises the quaint, narrow streets and the island's selection of restaurants serving delicious seafood specialities.
As Vis has only three "humble hotels,' the visitors are advised to rent private accommodation and villas.
Vis was on the list together with Italian Ischia, Vietnamese Cat Ba, Fakarava island in French Polynesia, Anegada Island, part of the British Virgin Islands, Madeliene in Quebec, Lama in Kenya, Monhegan in Maine (USA) and Terre-de-Haut (Guadalupe).
